idp-pp : idp-pp.log : things have gone badly, idp connection failed
There are two things that commonly cause this problem:
- there is something in the idp.xml that is incompatible with the shibboleth that ppk uses in its jars
- the MamsFileSystemArpRepsository setup is wrong
In particular, (as on RC-01) ppk cannot cope with a "allowAnonymousProviders" line in the idp.xml.
Also, the file:/usr/... line in the config for MamsFileSystemArpRepository must have only one slash in the front.
idp-pp : returning 0 results even for items that are in directory
Double-check:
- the custom ldap connector in resolver.ldap.xml
- the custom "premit any" rule that corresponds to this connector in arps/site.arp
Both these two need to be working before people picker can find anyone in the directory.
